Our staff of veteran high school coaches has a combined 140+ years of coaching experience that is unmatched in New Jersey. Blue Star believes that the strongest asset we have is our large network of incredibly talented coaches and players. Our network reaches far beyond our four directors; to current professional Canadian box lacrosse coaches, professional (MLL/NLL) guest coaches, college coaches, current college players, and volunteer coaches.

NJLC Tryouts

I am very pleased to announce the tryouts for the 20/21 NJLC season. All information for the tryout is on the NJLC website under the Registration tab-https://www.newjerseylacrosseclub.com/registration/

 

This year we will be doing it slightly differently. We will be holding a new player evaluation on Aug 4 for youth (2025-2029) players and August 5 for HS (2022-2024) players.

*This is only for new players to NJLC*

 

From there, we will be inviting all NJLC players and callback players from the new player evaluations to an official tryout on Aug 8th for youth players and Aug 9th for HS players. 

NEW to NJLC?

All NEW Youth Players - August 4, 2020

5:00-6:15pm 2027, 2028, 2029 Grad Years

6:45-8:00pm 2025, 2026 Grad Years

 

All NEW High School Players - August 5, 2020

5:00-6:15pm 2024 Grad Year

6:45-8:00pm 2022, 2023 Grad Years

 

 

The Returning Player Tryout info is as follows:

 

All CURRENT (and Callback) Youth Players - August 8, 2020

9:00-10:30am 2027, 2028, 2029 Grad Years

11:00am-12:30pm 2025, 2026 Grad Years

 

All CURRENT (And Callback) High School Players - August 9, 2020

9:00-10:30am 2024 Grad Year

11:00am-12:30pm 2022, 2023 Grad Years

 

If you cannot make an NJLC tryout, you must email Coach Wolchok at   to work out the details.

SJ SHAMROCK 2020-21 NEW PLAYER TRYOUTS

Shamrocks Lacrosse will be evaluating NEW players for our 2020-21 teams throughout the summer on a rolling basis.   We will be offering spots to players entering grades 2 through 11 this fall for both our Boys and Girls program.  Our 2020-21 season will begin in September 2020 and carry though until July 2021.  New players will have the opportunity to be evaluated at our Small Group Training and other training events from July through September.   This will give us the opportunity to coach the players in a smaller environment to determine if we are the right fit.  Players can also select multiple dates in order to be evaluated over the course of a few dates rather than one tryout.  The youngest teams (2029 and 2030) may have additional evaluations through the year to fill out their rosters.  To learn more about each program please click on the respective link:
